Listing is free and your skin stays in your Steam inventory until someone buys it. You set the price in USD and get paid the crypto equivalent, with 0% commission.
Before you start
- A Steam account with tradable CS2 items.
- The ChainSkins extension with a wallet to receive payments — see Set up the extension and your wallet.
- Your Steam trade link saved in your profile — see Set up your Steam trade link.
- Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator enabled, so you can confirm trades.
1. Log in with Steam
Go to chainskins.net and click Login with Steam.
2. Open your inventory
Click Inventory in the top menu. You’ll see your CS2 items, with their float, pattern and stickers.
Tip: If your items don’t show up, make sure your Steam inventory privacy is set to Public.
3. Click the skin and choose Sell
Select the skin (or several) and click Sell.
4. Set your price and coins
Set the price in USD and choose which coins you accept: XRP, USDC or USDT. You can check what similar skins are listed for before you publish. Your listing is live straight away.
5. Accept the sale
When someone buys your skin you’ll get a notification. Open Trades and click Accept (or Reject if you no longer want to sell).
The buyer then signs the contract and their payment is locked in escrow — you’ll see the trade move to Signed.
6. Send the skin
Click Send Skins in Trades. A normal Steam trade offer is sent to the buyer; confirm it in the Steam app with Steam Guard.
Important: Only send items through the Send Skins button. Never send a skin to someone who contacts you outside ChainSkins.
7. Get paid
After the buyer accepts the offer, Steam’s 7-day trade protection starts. When it ends the trade is Settled and the full amount is sent to your wallet automatically — no claiming needed. You’ll get a Trade Settled notification.
