ChainSkins is a peer-to-peer marketplace for buying and selling CS2 skins with cryptocurrency.

Every trade is protected by on-chain escrow and multisignature wallets, so neither the buyer nor the seller has to trust the other party — or us.

There’s no registration form: click Login with Steam on chainskins.net and authorize with your Steam account. No email or password is required.

After your first login, set your Steam trade link in Profile → Settings so you can receive items.

Yes. Creating an account and browsing the marketplace is free, and trades currently have a 0% commission.

The only cost is the blockchain network fee of the payment itself, which goes to the network (Solana or XRP Ledger), not to ChainSkins.

Your trade link lets sellers send you items through Steam without being on your friends list. You won’t be able to receive purchased items without it.

Set or update it in Profile → Settings → Steam Trade Link. You can find yours on Steam’s trade offer privacy page.

Yes, to trade. The ChainSkins extension holds your crypto wallet and signs payments locally, so your keys never leave your browser. It also connects your Steam account to verify trades.

A bargain is a price offer you send to a seller for a listed item. The seller can accept or decline it, and you’ll get a notification either way.

If your offer is declined, you can send a new one.

Steam can reverse trades during the first 7 days (trade protection). To keep both sides safe, the payment stays in escrow during that period and is released to the seller when it ends.

ChainSkins accepts cryptocurrency: XRP on the XRP Ledger, and USDC and USDT on Solana. Each seller chooses which coins they accept for their listings.

0%. Early adopters trade with zero fees. You only pay the blockchain network fee of the transaction.

When the 7-day Steam trade protection ends and the trade is settled, the escrow releases the payment to your wallet. You’ll get a Trade Settled notification when it happens.

Not yet — a mobile app is in development. In the meantime, the website works on mobile browsers.
